    Spotting Endangered Species

Are you a nature lover who would love to spot some endangered species? Perhaps you dream of seeing a Great Bittern in flight, or maybe you want to spot a Harbour Porpoise while visiting the ocean?

If you want to spot endangered animals and enjoy seeing them in nature, you will need to learn as much about them as you can. Where do they live and what do they eat? Do they come out during the day, or are they only nocturnal?

Once you know enough about the species that you want to see, you can then begin to plan an excursion. You will need to think about acquiring the appropriate gear, such as hiking boots or waterproofs. And if you will be in the mountains, you may need thermals, and if you will be on the water you may need lifejackets.

You will also want certain equipment such as binoculars. These are vital in your search for endangered species as you may never come close enough to one of these animals to actually enjoy it if you don’t use binoculars.

Depending on when the animal you want to see comes out, you may also need night vision binoculars. These are great for watching animals that come out at dawn or twilight as you may need to be in place while it is still dark.

Here at Sherwood we sell a great range of binoculars that are ideal for watching wildlife. Please see our main web site for more information about our products.
