Sky-Watcher Ultra-Wide Angle, Multi-Coated, Long Eye Relief eyepieces offer a generous 66º apparent field of view, allowing more sky objects to be viewed at one time. They provide sharp images right across the field. Rubber eyepieces are included for viewing comfort and to exclude extraneous light.

Rubber eyecups

These soft rubber eyecups are perfect for daytime viewing, or viewing at night from a light-polluted site. They improve the eyepiece view and comfort greatly, and the side wings or blinkers act as screens to ensure that the minimum amount of extraneous light enters your eye so that you only see the light that has passed through the telescope. They will fit most popular 1.25” Plössl eyepieces. With most eyepieces the existing rubber eyecup should be left in place - simply fit the winged version over the top. They are also the ideal compliment for binocular viewing systems especially when used for solar observing.

Barlows

The Barlow lens is used to multiply the focal length (Magnifying Power) of the objective lens. It is inserted between the diagonal and the eyepiece. The benefits of using a Barlow lens to increase magnification are: 1. Improved eye relief. 2. Reduced spherical Aberration in the eyepiece.

Tal Filter Set

#80A Blue (30% transmission): A popular filter for the study of Jupiter and Saturn. Enhances contrast of rilles and festoons in Jupiter's cloud belts, as well as details of the Red Spot. Brings out detail in Saturn's belts and polar phenomena. Very useful as a contrast-enhancing lunar filter.

P01 Green Filter (24% transmission): Use on telescopes 8" aperture and larger to reject blue- and red-toned structures on the surface of Jupiter and thereby increase their contrast relative to lighter parts of the disc. Also use for the enhancement of Saturn's cloud belts and polar regions. Strongly increases contrast of Mars' polar ice caps, and increases contrast of atmospheric phenomena on Venus. 

#12 Yellow (74% transmission): Contrasts strongly with blue-colored features on Jupiter and Saturn, while enhancing red and orange features. Lightens red-orange features on Mars, while reducing or blocking the transmission, and thereby increasing the contrast, of blue-green areas. Useful in increasing the contrast of lunar features in telescopes 6" aperture and larger.  
 
#25A Red (14% transmission): The #25A filter strongly blocks the transmission of blue and blue-green wavelengths, resulting in very sharply defined contrast between, for example, blue-tinted cloud formations on Jupiter and the lighter-toned features of the disc. Also useful for the delineation of the Martian polar ice caps and maria.

ND 96 Moon Filter (0.9 density; 13% transmission): The neutral density filter transmits light uniformly across the entire visual spectrum. It serves as an excellent filter to reduce glare and irradiation when observing the Moon with any telescope 4" and larger. The ND96 filter may also be employed in the splitting of close double stars where one of the binary pair significantly exceeds the other in brightness.

1.25" Lunar/Planetary Filter Set

Comprises 4 x high quality glass colour filters. Yellow, Red, Green & Moon/Neutral Density Filters included. These filters will fit most internally-threaded eyepiece barrels of 1.25"/31.7mm format. Supplied in attractive foam-lined plastic screw top storage case.

Light Pollution Filters 1.25” and 2”

These contrast-enhancing anodized aluminium, optical glass filters are designed to block out the wavelengths of light emitted by mercury-vapour light and other common causes of light pollution, whilst providing higher transmission at critical hydrogen-alpha and hydrogen-beta lines than competing filters. Bright, light-polluted skies appear much darker, and the contrast between object and sky is improved significantly. This contrast-enhancement effect is particularly apparent on nebulae. Unlike stars, emission nebulae give off light in a very narrow range of wavelengths. These filters allow maximum transmission of the important wavelengths of H-alpha, H-beta and doubly ionized oxygen – the ones most commonly emitted by nebulae. Views of galaxies and star clusters are also enhanced, but to a lesser degree. Also improves contrast on reddish planetary detail. Works well in telescopes of all apertures but is highly recommended for use on smaller telescopes up to 114mm diameter, where conventional filters swallow up too much light. Available in two sizes, threaded to fit either standard 1.25” or 2” astronomical eyepieces. Supplied with storage case.
