This is a new range of high grade binoculars from Nikon. The new range designated HG L (L for Lightweight) have a number of key new benefits. All HG L series binoculars are lightweight and use environmentally-friendly materials for ecological considerations. Since their launch, the Nikon HG series binoculars have enjoyed a fine reputation that has enhanced the overall image of Nikon

Lighter weight.
Environmentally friendly. Non-vinyl chloride materials used for body, eyepiece caps, case and strap. Eco-glass optics are free of lead and arsenic.
Prisms feature a high-reflection silver coating to provide brighter images.
Phase-correction-coated roof prisms deliver high resolution.
Nikon’s original multilayer coating attains a high light transmission rate across a wide range of wavelengths and reduces flare and ghosts for excellent colour reproduction.
Turn-and-slide rubber eyecups facilitate easy positioning of eyes at the correct eyepoint.
Every model is waterproof and fog-free, and has O-ring seals and nitrogen gas.

Roof Prism Waterproof

The Nikon Monarch binoculars feature an advanced roof prism optical design. It incorporates Nikon's exclusive Eco-Glass (made without the use of arsenic or lead) for all lens and prism elements. Prisms feature phase-correction coatings and high reflection mirror coatings for superior sharpness and resolution, and all lenses and are fully coated with multiple layers of anti-reflective compounds for maximum light transmission. The result is much improved low-light brightness, edge-to-edge sharpness, and definition.

Multilayer-coated lenses and prisms for remarkably bright, razor-sharp images.
High-eyepoint design provides clear field of view, even for eyeglass wearers.
Close focusing distance: 2.5m
Eco-glass optics: free from lead and arsenic.
Waterproof (up to 1m for 5 min) and fog-free, with nitrogen gas for added resistance to harsh environments.
Rubber armoring for superior shock resistance and firm, comfortable grip.
Lightweight body from fiberglass-reinforced polycarbonate resin.
