Designed for the serious birder and outdoor enthusiast, Meade's new Kestrel spotting scopes deliver sharp, crystal clear images required for long-range viewing. All Kestrel spotting scopes are constructed from lightweight polycarbonate and then rubber armor covered for a lifetime of use.

Fully Multi-coated lenses and BaK-4 Prisms - All Kestrel spotters feature high-index BaK-4 prisms and high-quality, precision ground lenses that are multi-coated to provide optical performance that is equal to, or better than, any spotting scope in its class.
Polycarbonate construction - All Kestrel spotting scopes are manufactured from lightweight polycarbonate which reduces overall weight and makes them extremely rugged and durable.
Rubber armor covered - A rugged rubber armor covering quiets down those bumps and protects your Kestrel spotting scope from abrasions and damage from regular use.
Waterproof, Fogproof & Nitrogen Purged ensure many years of performance.
Built-In Sliding Sunshade - Each Kestrel spotting scope features a sliding sunshade that is built-in to the objective lens of the scope to further reduce glare.
