Featuring a full-color LCD screen and the added ability to control a Meade computerized telescope, MySky is a fun, interactive, multi-media, hand-held guide to the universe that locates and identifies celestial objects in the night sky. MySky aligns itself by pointing it at a celestial object and pull the trigger to identify planets, stars, nebula, galaxies and more with over 30,000 objects. Your exploration starts with a simple video introduction of how to use MySky. Real-time, Color SkyMaps Guide you to the objects you want to locate. Sandy Wood, the familiar voice of StarDate the syndicated daily radio program, provides you with audio descriptions of the objects you have found. MySky also takes you on guided tours of the best objects in your sky tailored to your time, date and location.

The Meade mySKY®PLUS includes new multimedia presentations with Hollywood-style video content on the planets and the Moon, as well as a new more informative introduction and how-to guide on the operation of the product. Meade has also refined the software to give the user a trouble free and more entertaining exploration of the Universe. Gone is the lengthy wait for a GPS fix. Now in only a few moments, the time, date and location can be easily entered and stored in the Meade mySKY® internal clock and memory. It is automatically retrieved the next time the mySKY is used, so you get started even faster.

Meade mySKY is the ultimate in simplicity and ease of use. No prior knowledge of the night sky is needed due to the fact that Meade mySKY aligns itself without any input from the user. Turn it on, point it at a celestial object, and pull the trigger to identify planets, stars, nebulae, galaxies and much more. The Meade mySKY has a database of over 30,000 objects, many which include color images and audio descriptions.

MySky Autostar Interface Cable

The Meade mySKY cable set lets you connect a Meade mySKY hand-held multimedia sky exploration guide to a Meade AutoStar-equipped computerized telescope. It lets you point your mySKY at a celestial object, push a button on the mySKY , and have your telescope slew to the object you've selected.

There's no more scrolling through menus to find the Messier number of that globular cluster or nebula you can see overhead so you can get your scope to move to it. Just point your mySKY at the object and your scope will go right to it.

The cable set also lets you add the mySKY GPS date, time, and location functions to Meade non-GPS computerized telescopes for a more accurate telescope set-up.
