Anti-Power-Out Cable
A bridging cable to reduce the risk of sudden power shutdowns
caused by the power lead being pulled from it's socket during a move.

The risk of power "outs" during automatic set-up or during a GOTO move is just such a snag, caused by cables pulling on the power jack plug as the telescope slews from one position to another. Our "fix" for this is a simple right-angle plug that has a lower profile than most straight jack plugs. The cable has a 2.5mm female socket at one end, and a 2.5mm right angle plug at the other.

Back Cell Adapter to SCT Thread

The Back Cell Adapter allows accessories that require a SCT thread to be attached to the ETX telescope Now you can attach focal reducers to the ETX and use it as a high quality astro-photographic instrument. Attach flip-mirrors, off-axis guiders, or any other accessory that would require a SCT thread.

This lets you use on an ETX virtually any accessory that connects to the rear cell of a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope such as focal reducers, visual backs, photo adapters, etc.

This means you can use a focal reducer for imaging with the ETX 90,105 or 125. Coupled with the Meade DSI cameras you can obtain wider fields and shorter exposure times.

The Micro-Wedge

The Micro-Wedge is an ideal portable way to mount your ETX for astro-photography projects. It allows the ETX to be mounted and polar aligned on a tabletop using the detachable "A" frame or, with this detached, on any suitable photographic tripod (standard 1/4" or 3/8" BSW thread fitting). The users latitude setting can be adjusted between 23 and 90 degrees for the AC020, and 25 and 65 degrees for AC021. The wedge has a built-in spirit level and the tabletop "A" frame has adjustable levelling feet. Complete with instructions and all adjustment tools - finished in black powder coating.
